  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

NEW RED.COM website live!

Bob, I am not aware of pace for that syncing. Let me check.

Edit - It is on the fast follow implementation list.

I finally received the reset password email (at 7:16 PM). Awesome!

Who should I send the beer to?

I'm glad to see that this update is helping the RED team scale. As a software engineer in the video broadcast industry, I understand how much work this must have been and applaud the hard work. I hope the team behind it can get some rest and relaxation. I didn't notice any JavaScript console exceptions during my brief vist, so congrats to the person/s who worked on the front-end (yes, I navigate the Internet with my browser developer tools open).

Thank's RED!

Jarred, Brent and team,

First of all, congratulations on the new online platform! Looks clean, loads fast and pretty well organised.

Unfortunately, I'm also one that cannot login. Also my account was a bit "loaded", after my Monstro upgrade, since I sent extra cash waiting for any exciting new module.

Please do look out for me! Got the email you described Brent, just not the reset password one . Trying to reset it manually says there's no such account or email in the database.

Again, kudos for the step up!

Thanks, Sergio. As I mentioned before, until you get the second email stating you can reset your password now, your account has not migrated over. So doing manually will just be trying reset something that does not exist on the new platform.

We are trying some stuff behind the scenes to speed up the migration, but it simply is a ton of accounts trying to flow through a pipe only so big...

Don't worry, your account balances are all fine :)

Got it Brent! Does this mean we are going to have some surprises on the site soon? Should we get our wallets ready? :)

Hi Brent - received the email and did the password reset, all worked fine :)

Now showing a lonely old Mysterium Epic X (it seems to have lost the fact it was upgraded to a Dragon back in the day) - I'm sure it used to read as a Dragon - although I haven't checked in ages :)

One point to note, the UK database of Counties (ie States in US parlance) is out of date - showing some that don't exist anymore (and newer/renamed ones are missing).

Hi Brent - First great upgrade and work on the website.

Second - +1 on the issue of my Dragon turning back into a Epic X - maybe internally it is that always.

Lastly - I noticed that when I checked my addresses the "0" was missing from the first digit of my zip code. 07010 I've seen that programs sometimes leave it off thinking it has no value unless zip code fields are told it needs 5 digits.

Keep up the great work!

Chris and Andy, let me have that checked.

Dan, so you got the second email from NetSuite telling you it was time to reset and had a link to specifically do that? Or did you only get the heads up first email?

Got my password changed. How does this effect my support ticket for my Epic-W to Gemini upgrade? I believe I was slotted for Sept 21-24 as my window, so I want to get my camera shipped out today if possible... My new email+password doesn't seem to want to log into the Support page (I have cookies enabled but I keep getting the warning).

Josh, Support portal through Zendesk did not change with this transition. Your prior credentials should work just fine there.

Craig, +1 to the question I asked Dan.

Not working for me. I have Safari save my password, and when I tried to log-in, nada. Following up on a long overdue inspection... No combination of usernames / passwords works...

I received an email to change my password. I clicked the link and it takes me to a login screen. Old log-in doesn't work and all I can do is request a new password. That starts the cycle again.

Same thing for me. Got email asking to reset password to my account, but when entering it to try and and reset it, I get a notification that the email/account doesn't exist.

Also, trying to order the DSMC2 red touch 7" and some other stuff and I'm just getting 404 "Page Not Found" errors all over the place.

Chris and Andy, let me have that checked.

Chris and Andy, our internal records show you with your EPIC M-X as your camera purchase. And your sensor type as DRAGON, meaning it is current. We are looking into being able to show sensor name as a field as well to be less confusing to you guys.

All, note that nothing was "lost" in this migration. It just may be a matter of some info not displaying in current system, but the values are there. In fact, we are currently running our old and new systems in parallel still as a failsafe, if that gives everyone a feeling of security...
