  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

NAB13- Scarlet Upgrade Program

I dropped mine off at Red in Irvine on Friday and got this email 2 hours ago:

Your SCARLET-X02414 has completed evaluation and our service team has determined no repairs were needed to bring it back up to RED factory specification. Your order has been moved forward for processing and your Bomb Squad Representative will be in contact with you shortly to process your new EPIC-X MYSTERIUM-X (Brain Only) sales order.

I will find out soon when I can pick it up!

I talked with a Bombsquad rep today (not mine, he was out of the office - cool that someone stepped up and took care of the paperwork for me!!). Everything has been done on my end. Now they say I need to wait the traditional 3-5 business days before the Epic ships.
Hopefully it will be more like today or tomorrow ;)

I was wrong, got a little ahead of myself & received an email about 20 mins later, "My below email was a simple request for you to agree to our SLA checklist so there are no delays once we are ready to have your camera sent-in for evaluation and upgrade."


Btw, this is for Scarlet to Dragon trade-in.
 
I present to you Epic #5291... Still gotta figure out a name for her... Picked it up today from RED Irvine. The ultimate torture- just shot a job in Texas yesterday and ALL my lenses are being shipped back as we speak. No testing for me until Thursday.. :(

DC did you buy the case prior and send to them?

You get a case, tools for the plate and body cap, and a sticker with your epic

Planning on stopping by the store in a couple weeks to grab some stuff. you know when the new fans will be on the shelf?

+1 on the fans. Would love to shut up sound department once and for all. ;) I ordered a new top plate cause you can make em fit!
