THAT would be cool. Aperture Priority in motion footage using auto-changing ND...
I have been wanting a camera with this capability for 15 years. We're close.

Yep, this motion-mount directly integrated into the camera has a lot of potential to make great things possible.I have been wanting a camera with this capability for 15 years. We're close.

And the even greater fact is, i'm sure RED's engineers are actually working on such things and RED will release new features in form of free firmware-upgrades, as always.
Mind-blowing if you ask me.![]()
Angeniux 16-42 and 30-80…
I guess the chances are slim, but does anyone have any idea if they'll fit the motion mount?
Well, since no one else offered, I'll take this deal.Absolutely. You give us cash, we will trade you for a mount![]()
Does the Motion Mount work through an ITO coating solution like in Berkeley Lab's Smart Windows? One would assume you'd be able to get the same shutter effect as the tessive by modulating the charge at specified intervals and with an ITO coating you also get the IR cut. Or can you guys even talk about how the mount actually works?Funny how people keep thinking that.. its not the polymer Tessive. Its made out of optical glass, our same glass as we use in our OLPF. Thats how we were able to slip in a layer of IR cut on the front glass and a AR filter on the back to eliminate stray reflections from multiple layers.

hopefully there is no cable connection between the brain and the motion mount needed.
no cable on the motion mount. Cable on the Vmount bevause it slides in and out...
Is the motion mount adjustable in camera and on physically on the mount?
