  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Muppets shot on RED...

Love the Muppets. What a treat to have them look so good.

The link with the #at=76 makes the trailer start at 76 seconds in, not sure you intended that Jarred. Not that I'm not all for instant Muppet Gratification.

A world without Jim Henson still in it is only tolerable because he had been in it and we get to see the results of his work carried on. The fact that the dude who tried to write a puppet dracula musical is in a muppet movie is sweet justice. Sam the Eagle FTW!
Rhetorical question - Is there a BluRay of The Dark Crystal out yet?

Disney Did a great job with the story and this will be a great muppet movie very reminiscent of the Movies made when Jim Henson was still with us. Though the jim Henson Company was not directly involved with the story etc, The puppeteers are the same that have been doing the characters for years, and were good Friends of Henson. It should also be noted that some older characters that needed to be refurbished or remade were done by the Jim Henson Company. Disney has a good relationship with the Jim Henson Company.

Just saw the new Muppet movie, looked incredible!!! I have question though, didn't see any RED logo at the end credits, just Kodak (film distrib. imagine) and Otto Nementz.

I noticed that as well. It was definitely shot on Red to some extent...I heard some cast members mention the cameras in interviews, aside from what we've heard here. I too was wondering what was up with the missing logo...

Just saw the movie on a (pretty grubby) print. Looked fantastic. So much detail - almost calling out for a ProMist... Almost. Really, really impressive. Clean highlights, clean shadows, great blacks. Nice organic look.

When I saw the Kodak logo at the end and no Red logo I had a little moment where I thought, "Go out of business you bastards!". I got over it (I don't really want to see them out of business) but surely film makers can start to tell Kodak no on the logo. What are they going to do? Tell you to go somewhere else?
