  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Also interested how it works with the action products 15mm lws mount, seems to get it the way of that. And if the topfan wil not interfere with the existing topplates. But great there is a simple upgradeable solution!
 
Looking at my RED 15mm assault plate and current fan design it looks like there is quite a gap that could make it still compatible with the bigger front fan...
No idea if the new top fans fits under the RED tactical top plate tho.... Jarred ?

yup.. not sure where yet but they are there. I just realized the show opens in 4 hours and I gotta fit some sleep in here sometime :)

As for what fits for the top fans.. naturally there will be some top plates that don't fit if they are totally flat without a carve out below. You can get a sense for this by knowing that the top fans fit under your current grill.. so if you have that much space on whatever top mount you use, you should be golden.

and I wonder how this will be with 15mm front-rod-adapters for smaller Matte-Boxes...
seems like the fan is "deeper" and sticking out a bit further from the camera front (maybe plus 3 millimeter?)...

but the price is very nice I must admit :)

I want both of these asap! But, my beloved Action Products 15mm LWS audio rod mounts will definitely not fit over this. DAMN IT! It's my favorite accessory...
 
Agreed Jonathan - the Action Products 15mm Audio adapter thingy is not going to fit. I really like mine too. I hope that they come up with a solution - they just need to redesign it a bit.

ok, since the shop is (a)live again now;
can I just add the top fan upgrade to the "old"/"existing" leafblower without updating the front fan or would that be not recommended?
