Whats the cheapest way to just dock the Redmote while this system is in use? Just a V-Mount? and where would that mount to ?
No worries.. more parts just came off the machine today. They are building up and should be in the store early next week.
I think you're looking for that. looks like you can mount it pretty much everywhere:

That looks great. But can't wait for the single Redvolt XL module!

I havn't taken the REDVOLT XL module prototype off my camera since it came out of the oven. The fact that it also charges the batteries on camera while your plugged in makes it even better. Can't really say enough good things about it. But there will always be V lock systems that need to use V-lock batteries, and this is where the Backpack Quickplate comes in.
Well that cat's out of the bag!
So, just for folks who travel and since REDVOLT XLs fit within nearly all flight restrictions. You could potentially hold 2 REDVOLT XLs and the REDVOLT Charger as well as having one attached to your camera body and travel with your A/C adapter. 3 batteries all being charged at night yielding about 4.5 hours of camera up-time. Or heck, add another two REDVOLT XLs into that mix and get about 7.5 hours of up-time. All pretty lightweight and super portable.

oops forgot i was supposed to keep that part a secret![]()
You can break your own rules. I don't think anybody here would complain. But, hey. This thing "doesn't exist" and we aren't supposed to know about it anyways.
