  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

NAB Recon thread. Feel free to post any product information you come across.

Not sure if this was posted but Edelkrone recently launched a new 4-axis motion control system and just now updated it to be able to handle cameras up to 14lbs with the Pro upgrade kit. I've already pre-ordered mine to use with the Epic-W: https://www.edelkrone.com/us/p/138/slider-plus

This is what I was hoping for!
I have a sliderplus medium I almost posted it for sale today, guess I am keeping it. This will be a much more affordable step into moco, since I already have the slider.

The first version of the MoVI Carbon is specifically for an A7 series camera with a specific zoom lens (forgot which one). They are coming out with other MoVI Carbons supporting other cameras. Price will be under $30k including camera/lens package.

Inovativ Carts will be announcing their Scout NXT - Cart just like the Scout, just cheaper. Will retail for under $2k, but RU's will get it much cheaper than that. :-)

What I want is gimbals with full controls so I don't have to touch the camera. Gain, ISO, aperture, zoom, focus, sound gain etc, preset switches, full auto, temporary auto, toggle auto, follow manual on general and each control, with menu controls, that would be better than most of the stuff out there. Also with remote camera head control, and a maternal directional control, monitor hookup. The handle with internal recorder with Prores and single chip Raw mosaics (not just bayer), a raw Hdmi transfer defacto specification overlaid onto the normal Gmurray signalling, not requiring it to be a hdmi standard, but any recorder and camera manufacturer can adopt in 1 months time, like the old days. No waiting tees for a committee to verify some complex standard, instead of an data overlay across a standard mode. TB, is better though. Now, That would be revolutionary, but I can't find anybody that makes what I want, not even a gimbal or remote. Control, with full camera and lens. Control. Forgot a white balance control and contrast cuntrol, with upper and lower clip and roll off. Some resolve like auto color correction in the recording metadata. Just stick a BM micro or 4k studio head on it, or a mobile phone, and play.

It could be a typo but it says the Carbon comes with a Sony A7S III on the website.
