  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Manufacturing Redefined...

Don't worry.. Red ESD jackets are coming. It seems Just like everything else that we do, we had to get them custom made. I guess RED just isn't normal ;)

You could print the Ali quote on the back. "me, we".

Or maybe RED, EPIC, SCARLET,

Or just team red or red family.

:)

I think you should buy the best camera you can... then smile when you realize that for the 1st time in 100 years, the best camera you can buy is made in the USA.

Jim

Hmm, if we all take that approach then there are far more non-US purchasers than US ones.

So are you saying that I should rush out and Buy ARRI? or that our Asian colleagues should buy Sony?

A rare picture of camera production line, bravo!
The spooks have spotted a copy of Danielle Steele's novel "Bittersweet", "..a story of freedom, of having dreams and making choices to find them" (source:Random House)

First time in 100 years... I like that ....Proudly Made In USA...

These pictures are sooooo cool. Its like a mixture between Westworld and THX1138.

At least we know that Jim didn't bring in Umpar Lumpars to the build line.

Very impressive with what Kent has brought together in only 6 months - congrats.

Jim, more than happy to buy the best camera I can... small problem - stage 4 not available yet!!! ;-)

Wow! This is cool! Thanks for posting this!

Reminds me almost identically to how the US manufacturing for Garmin AT (avionics division where I used to work) manufacturing looks. I'd put on those same blue esd jackets to go see how my product was being made. Cool stuff!

Really impressive, other words: KICK ASS :) The great news is, I just heard from my bomb squad, my EVF is being shipped as we speak, can't wait to put my hands on it. :) The screening of my latest short film shot on Epic was unbelievable, people loved it. Can't wait to start on my feature film by the end of this year.
:)

RED is ME. and/ or I AM RED.

LOVING IT.

:DDD Got my email Stage 2 notice today. Would love a tour some day. Thanks Jim and whole RED Team...

Looks like a science fiction set design. One more wood to the fire that you use alien technology :)

Couldn't agree more :-) and as you know that's what I'm in the process of doing!

I think they are just warming up... ...so they will be ready for Scarlet...
Just great to see the people that assemble the camera. Every 13min they may hold a new EPIC...
Thanks for sharing the photos.
