Just want to share my experience buying a Leica R 100mm 2.8 Macro APO from Mark Magnarella. Mark is an awesome seller, who's very helpful and knowledgeable.
He's very quick to respond all the way until the product arrived. The lens is as described by Mark, beautiful and mint. Thanks again for everything, Mark. I have a mint and exceptional copy of that lens. It's the lens that all other lenses were tested against for many years, absolute a best in class lens. Mark is a fine fellow and a great contributed here.

Thanks Morgan, it was my pleasure and I hope you enjoy what the 100 macro apo has to offer. It was my gateway Leica R and the lens I found on a search for the best macro for the work I was doing at the time. Between its colors, detail retention, APO correction and organic bokeh style found it was by far my favorite of the several best macros available for EF mount. I've always owned at least one since...

David, thanks for the kind words and your inspiring posts and pictures here. You helped me make the leap from a few Leica Rs to a full-blown set back in the day :)
 
What does it mean when a Leica R only have 4 serial numbers? Is it still a legit copy?
