  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

LEICA R on RED: Pictures

Hi all,

I read all the pages front 1 to 144 and I'm ready to build my in set of Leica Rs ;)
Thank You all for awesome info.

I just found a Leica Super Elmarit 15mm f3.5 - with an amazing price (1250e). Lens it's made in 80'. I'm gone use it with a Scarlet W.

My questions is: the image will be simmilar with other Leica lenses from the same period of time (same coating, same vintage look, same sharpness).

Hi Cris, the sharpness varies some depending on which lens, but coatings/colors and look should render similarly with other Leica Rs from the same time period.
 
A few frames from a recent project. Red Epic Weapon 8k and Leica-r Summicron set.

I must admit i become more and more fond of my Leica-r kit. Thanks to all that has kept this thread alive, because this was my source of information and inspiration for buying into Leica-R glass for cinematography. :smile:

Nice work Jørgen! These are beautiful. I know what you mean. My Leicas are my go to lenses for just about everything.
