Damn. I actually asked Jarred for 2TB mags in 2016 for one very specific project. This is great. I'll need to mull over grabbing 2 or 4, but I will grab them and fill them up with much 8K.

yeah - been waiting for this one - was talking with Jarred awhile back on if there were larger mags in the pipeline... and all I got was a 'hehehe'. And like Phil - have a few projects that larger mags will make mush easier. And for those flying their cameras - less landing to change out media.

I won't say if I've landed on an iceberg or not, but I will certainly say I've been "very north" and swapped mags on the edge of an icy cliff with the heli trying to blow me of the edge with no other possible landing sites around to load up fresh media because the light was so damn good and I was Limp Bizkit-style Rolling, Rolling, Rolling. This allows for this issue to essentially be solved in that world. Also helps on some more studio-style stuff where camera seems to just be up and rolling more. Doing a lot more on the roll takes these days.

never mind . I think based on its MSATA m2 SSD its about 500 MB/sec ... This is still awesome

Typically around 480MB/s - assuming your target drive keeps up and the bus isn't congested.

Great idea to add the USB-C port! So sick to not need a reader if you are on the go. I'm sure you will sell a ton of these.
