...I will say this thing is quite a bit more solid than my Red One #14 was the first day I took it home.
Is your Epic serial #14 also?

That's temporary while we do some tuning on 120fps.
It'll be available in the next firmware update next week.
Jarred said that Dino's camera had an alpha build loaded on it, so I think he was shooting full 5k 120fps on the build that Deanan is referring to. I think the other cameras just don't have that build on them, so 96fps is the current max.Deanan
What Resolution/ratio are you working on for 120fps?
Is your Epic serial #14 also?
I'd love to know if there is a chance of a full-height 16:9 (2700 x 4800) that might make it to 100fps
Thanks for sharing info, John, on your new M - it's great that these EPIC cameras are being put into very diverse hands.
Does anyone know what the serial number system for EPIC cameras will be? It seems as if a new serial system is evolving. It's kind of a trite question, I suppose, but I'm superstitious.
Give someone 96fps and they want 100fps. Give them 100fps and they want 120fps... etc.
Jim
I just asked the question as I shoot a lot in 50hz/ PAL countries, so what's possible at 100fps is of particular interest, and only a hair away from 96.
Thanks for the answer, though.
You can shoot 4.5K at 100fps...
Jim
will higher rates be available at lower resolutions like on the RED One?
like for example, at 2K, 250fps?
Is this even a possibility?
