  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

January 2016 update

BTW, you might want to check your junk mail. I was receiving all my regular RED emails in my inbox. It was when I was emailing by bomb squad rep about something else that he said I should have received my notice and to check my junk mail, and he was right. It was the only RED email there!

Just to clarify, Mike you have an Epic-X, not an Epic-M? And you already received your Weapon Magnesium upgrade notification? If you don't mind me asking, what was the date/timestamp on your upgrade order?
 
Haha, Matthew...we were on the same wavelength! But Mike's upgrade was to CF, so not relevant to our situation.

I was just responding to your Epic-X question, Tom. I didn't see any reference in your post about a Magnesium Weapon. Sorry for any misinformation. :)
 
Hey Brent/Jarred! Will Ravens trickle out in small batches as they come in or will big lots go at a time? Thanks! :) Already ordering accessories in anticipation... the wait is killing me so I have to pick up extras in the meantime :)

I think it would be nice to know soon Dates Range of Scarlet W package delivery so we can in advance prepare for our film projects. That would be nice. I know it says March 2016. but that could be the 1st, or the 31st. Big difference.

No, that is the WEAPON package case. Since components are different for SCARLET-W package, different laser cutouts. But, promise me, you won't be disappointed with this case!

So it seems we're closing in on the original 14th estimate for the Scarlets Jarred started this thread with. All of these messages about things staying on time have me being hopeful we might see these emails go out by the top of next week? Any chance??

well. all i can say is that I am in the weapon MG queue and I still haven't received my email. I ordered on the first day.
 
My weapon MG just passed thru evaluation and just waiting on bomb squad rep to reach out for the upgrade to take place. I put in deposit the day of announcement so I'm probably at the front line of MG's I believe.

Jarred how are you man...Congrats on the weapon line up...which got me to thinking about all of that old stuff that might be sitting in your warehouse.You know like one of those very old switch blades that can't fit a weapon but it can fit the old Epic-x. I was wondering if there will be a half off somewhere down the line a discount or something. I wouldn't want you to get rid of that stuff or for it to collect dust ya know even the Red One, 1.8 mags etc. Lets help each other ya know =)
 
Well MG is going, and scarlet w soon? My CF has been allocated and RMAd so it's looking pretty good overall I'd say (certainly relative to previous roll outs or competitors like Arri with no SXT or notice of what's going on). The only guys really waiting I guess are 8k early adopters due to low yields and Panavision/films getting the first pick. I fall in the latter category as well but it's not like CF isn't exciting while I wait?
