  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

HYDROGEN preorders...

Nooo!! My iPhone 7 pluss just met the pavement and the screen is really cracked..
1. How soon can I get my pre-ordered Hydrogen 1? Right now would be a great time to do the switch from iPhone to android :)
2. Will the H1 screen be ultra-tough so it doesn’t crack easily?

In case everybody is bored waiting for hydrogen updates:

Just think how much those trick shots would have cost if they still had to shoot on film... :skep:

Eric, multipoint on small luna covers sounds great. However, now I'm worried about people tramping over landing sites with these. We need immediate international archaeology agreements over luna archeological sites, and the US, needs to fence them off, otherwise they can be lost. This can be done remotely with payloads and robotics sent to.theoin. Even a test run of the luna 3D printed building technology.

Totally agree 100%.

When I used to be archeological conservator and modern materials and artifacts researcher/materals scientist / conservator... That's always the first thing. Base line documentation especially before and after a conservation intervention or restoration. That's what I designed our methods and tech originally to do. In essence Conservation condition reports and monitoring is very important.

Oddly enough I have always felt the same about if Humans ever make it to MARS that they should carry out condition reports using various aerial or ground based vehicles of the pristine environment before humans trample over everything...

Boot prints on Mars... Good, but recording the environment before we trash it... Even better.

Meanwhile there is a gargantuan amount of 3d , time and space recording that is needed for recording species habitats on earth.

Sorry about your phone, that seems to happen a lot, my wife did the same with X recently.

I think Phil mentioned that maybe something similar to gorilla glass (maybe)?

Probably have to run a tank over the H1 to crack the screen I'm guessing.

Yes, I wanted to apply mine to crime scene analysis and archival. There is also some hard to do archeological exploration I am interesrd in it could be used for. But in your use for could use a fleet of small drones to.accurately map a site grid like before hand to tell if there has been any unregistered interference or looting where from and even tire and gait analysis that can finger print individuals (and tell where DNA samples might be). I could fly my drone designs witn camerasfir security which were to be 24/7/365 flyers above jet craft. Simple protocols, if anybody unauthorised turns up dispatch security, if drone/feed interfered with dispatch security. I van get over modern possibilities of substitution of the feed, even if the encryption is cracked (illegal activity is big business and somebody is bound to try to crack it).

On mars. I had a terraforming proposal that had a lengthy archeological survey of the planet before hand, just in case. Drones would be best, but the atmosphere is so thin they couldn't support much (which indicates next generation hardened magnetic circuitry) and the use of atomic battery technologies (caves). Thinking about it, the drones could act as feature movement markers after terra forming. We could have started by now if humans weren't so distracted. It's fascinating, I could shift the length of day and orbit of Mars according to my technique. Look up the oscillation of Mars as to why, which also explains a gap in the advancement of civilisation until the oscillation finished and we got the post oscillation flourishing of history and historical records. I'm yet to research the validity of that stuff.

Maybe I should try these guys for a software development team. They have great balance. I've wanted to try Jeet Kune Do practitioners in the past. A similar perspective on handling balance.

Oh yeah! I'll be in Europe most of June and will need that phone. More importantly, the pointy edges of my razer phone are starting to rub holes in my jean pockets, so if I don't get the H1 soon I'll have to walk around with no pants on!

How do you like the razer phone? How's the display and speakers in your opinion?

It's a great phone. The sound is the best. Great for recording as well. Display is everything reviewers point out: 120 hz refresh is great; Easily matches oled for daily use and no burn in non-sense; not bright enough outside on a sunny day. Camera mediocre, disappointing but tolerable for daily stuff. It's not too big but pointy edges a nuisance. No issues with lack of waterproofness. Have not had any problem with pocket fuzz getting into speaker grill and I carry it all day long in front pant pocket. Phone is blazingly fast, stable, plenty of memory, no software bloat, nova prime launcher great; no stupid bixby; body design is built like a tank and I think could stop a bullet; I'd say the only mistakes Razer made were poor camera hardware/software, and the body needs a bit of refinement, a bit slimmer, softer. And they need to bring back headphone jack. It is such a pain in the ass to be without it.
I find it a little tedious to carry around all day, until I need to listen to music or watch content, then it's all worth it.

one more thing, subjectively, with the razer phone I feel like I have something special, it does a few things better than any other phone, and has that intangible "vibe". All the other phones, until the H1 of course, are just bland clones of each without much of an identity. I guess I have to admit I'm a niche kind of guy. i had a pixel2 xl for a short time before it became too buggy, and it's experience was... meh.

Those guys are amazing my wife showed me their videos a few months ago... Crazy amazing...

The Philosophy of JKD ... Very interesting and frankly makes sense.

The Jarred and Bruce Lee's family connection is very special IMO. Gives me good goose bumpies / makes my hair stand on end in a good way, chief shared that on Soc_M.

I wished I could have waited and gotten the razer phone instead of my note 8. I really like everything about the razer phone with the exception of the camera, no sd card, and headphone jack. Its unique in almost every way. The RED hydrogen one is the complete version of the razer phone in my opinion. Great build quality/materials, sd card, headphone jack/sound improvements/software, 4 total cameras, unique screen display, and module possibilities.

What family connection?

What family connection?

OK my grammar and punctuation is not 100% spot on there, But check out Jarred's IG page... There's a really cool personal story there and description of chain of events.

Moving into the Second Quarter of 2018 ...

My bet is still around May though ...

Seems something special on board... Did someone light this candle yet?

Maybe they did... No footage?

Did Jim Jannard and Jarred just put something of theirs in Orbit?

Anybody recognize the vehicle and capability... ? :-)

So IRIDIUM 5 satellite phone communications satellite was just launched from Vandenberg AFB. Launched 3/30/2018

So Iridium have launched several satellites already...

Who is IRIDIUM ?

___

When you start googling about...

https://satellitephonestore.com/catalog/phones-terminals/iridium

Satellite phone systems... Or a mobile phone that communicates to satellites... Presumably when you are in extreme remote locations ...

Can the H1 do that ;-) Or is there a Satellite module for H1 ?

$5 says there is a HYDROGEN in Orbit...
Kevlar and titanium good for micro meteoroid impaction? (maybe?) .

What on Earth and Space are JJ and JL getting up to??????

L-Band is the 1-2 GHz spectrum, but I have no idea what it is used for. I'm an old C-Band guy.

Very interesting:

"Incorporation of Earth imaging and other secondary payloads - thereby providing additional functionality to further utilise the satellites."

If one were to put a RED camera in space, it would also make sense to use one with the least amount of power requirements. But what's the advantage of a 3D camera from that distance, apart from having some part of the "bird" in the frame?
