  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Here it is...

Being that I adore Lightroom for my photo editing and often dreamed of being able to use the same interface for Red data, this video literally brought excitement that I never thought I feel for an application.

Can't wait. Red is the color of my digital dreams.

"And please guys.. keep the bitching down a little... "

They're talking about the most important feature of an editor, the ability to edit with EDLs and such.

That's not "bitching."

That's stating the obvious.

The only thing obvious here is that you have completely missed the point.

Redcine-X is not a complete replacement for Final Cut etc... just like Lightroom is not a complete replacement for Photoshop.

Go back to your room, lie down for a minute and try getting up from the other side of the bed this time.

Deck control with RED ROCKET?

sorry if this has already been answered.

Hey Jarred, is the app [or a beta] likely to ship around when the Rocket ships?

Jannard mentioned August back Pg2.--- Sure enough ^^

But this raises a good questions, if Red Rocket is still on sked for the next couple weeks or so, will there be software that calls upon it at release?

RED Alert! ships with RED Rocket... R-X follows closely behind.

For the love of God it comes out in August.

This shouldn't even be called Red Cine-x. This is a new monster. One I'll be proud to call a "friend."

It's the August drinking game! Take a shot every time Jim has to answer the question. Better than "Hi, Bob"!

Again the same question (now shorter):

Is REDCINE-X based on some great new features from upcoming SCRATCH upgrade or is it now a totally new app???
