  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Contact orders@redrockmicro.com with your order number. If you placed your order before priority shipping ended (August 8th) then it could be you placed your order under a different email address than what we had in our reservation system. Otherwise if you placed it after that date, priority for reservation holders ended and it is treated as a regular order.

Sorry Brian I ordered my mattbox at nab and I have made several inquiries to redrock at the email you indicated. Several unanswered and several replies with useless information such as: "we are looking into it". Then, I was emailing a rep and told her to cancell my shoulder mount when I realized it was not on 19mm rods. Last week my shoulder mount arrived anyways and still no mattbox. You know what would really make things better for your company: A PHONE NUMBER. I am frankly sick of waiting days for an email response. It has been a week since I emailed your orders@redrockmicro.....You guys have been collecting interest on 2000 dollars from me since april and I am more than a little annoyed at this point...........and I can assure you I did not change me email address!

wow. this seems like too much drama. I've got a birger and origo in limbo, so I think that's enough shipping hoopla for me. Mattebox does look nice though.

Please read your PM that I sent. Calling your office phone number is useless and responding to email isn't something that you guys have a very good track record with. I'm still waiting to hear back from several emails sent on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. No one ever answeres and the message says, "The best way to reach us is via email".

By the way, I am checking my junk mail as well.

Just called again and can't get anyone other than "leave a message".....message left.

Thats cool, but as said in an earlier post, the number never gets an answer..and a voicemail is a bout as useless as an email if it is never returned. I still havent recieved your pm so here is my order number if it helps: 974-SO19116
 
Anyone heard about shipping starting again today? Checked my tracking number from last week but no update.
 
Jim - you will be issued a new tracking number when your mattebox ships. The old number won't work.

Has anyone with the microMattebox looked into 5.65x5.65 filter trays from companies other than Arri? Cavision makes a universal filter tray that is said to work with filters up to 5.65 square, and they're pretty inexpensive when you consider the alternative.

These retail for $119 per tray, if I'm not mistaken. They carry them at Adorama (at least, it's on the website). Anybody in the NYC area who currently has the RR MB care to check out compatibility? I'm still waiting on mine, but will hopefully be able to look into this by the end of next week if someone else hasn't done so prior.

will my pancro 4 x 5.65 filters fit in my mattebox
will my mattebox arrive with 3 filter trays
and can i please have my matte box

i have a ton of jobs breathing down my neck
