  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

GROUP BUY – OSEE LCM215-HDR 21.5" 10bit Monitor Kit

Can you switch between the A and B HD-SDI inputs using the front panel buttons? I find it very handy on a two camera shoot to be able to do a "live switch" to test the cuts. If you have to dig into menus to do this it becomes an awkward situation during a take. Perhaps you can use on of the function keys for this? Also just confirming there's no ability to show a pip or split screen? That's would be very handy if it did have this functionality but I read in the thread that this is not possible.

You can switch between the A and B HD-SDI inputs using the front panel button, yep!

Down to last dozen! This is my first group buy – any ideas for where I could cross post this to get word out?

The Source Input buttons are designated on the main panel. There is no split screen or PIP on this model. But like the Blackmagic Multiviewer, OSEE will have one too that will give you that ability.
This is a deal breaker for me. It's major requirement for me. I will have to pass on this GB till they have a model that can do split screen. Thanks for setting this GB up William.

Interested in this group buy but I'm wondering how the monitor will stand up as a grading monitor. I might take it on set occasionally, but likely more for reviewing footage and trying out grades in the office. I'm just a little skeptical at how accurate the black levels would be on any high bright monitor, and yet reading shadow detail is one of the most crucial factors for me. Anyone with experience actually grading on one of these?

I have this question too. Anyone?

Is there U.S based service for these monitors?

Update: OSEE has agreed to do 20% off rate at 20+ sales. 3 sales till we cross the line! 3 days left! Ends Friday at midnight!

Same here...

Hey William,
Please update on "how the monitor will stand up as a grading monitor."

Count me in for 1!

I have yet to use the monitor in person so I cannot say – maybe Bob Gundu has input on this?

I have definitely been using it as a grading monitor and to me its been fantastic. But I haven't put up any scopes to measure it's accuracy yet.

Thanks Bob,
Ok, I am in...
