  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Group Buy: Budget CRI 95 LED Strip Lights

The controller arrived today. Testing is underway.

My lights are no longer available. Nathaniel Haban has taken up my quota of daylight spools and accessories including controller. Info already emailed to Brandon for his records.

Cheers,
Sabyasachi

I got your email, Sabyasachi. Will reply tonight when I'm back at my workstation and can update my records.

Neat.

The tests with my Scarlet Dragon are looking good! Hopefully doing more HFR testing with a borrowed Epic this weekend and a full load test. I will also upload video.

This weekend I will start working down the list of people that wrote me wanting extra rolls of light. If you want to be put on the list, email (ideally) or PM me.

Submitted another batch of "lights and kits" deliveries today. I will email everyone in this batch over the next day or so.

No kidding!

So realistically, assuming all testing goes relatively well and only minor adjustments are needed to the controller, if any, how long is the turnaround from manufacturing to your hands, and consequently to ours?

The production run and shipping (to the warehouse) will take ~3 weeks. Inventory a few days.

Could you list the output specs of the ribbons again? It's not on the first page anymore?

Also used 1 strip (had someone hold the some partial ribbons then someone else hold the dtap, a really bad DIY way of using 1 strip haha)
testing the lights---ace!

I use rigs like that sometimes, too. Whatever works :)

I'll send you the lab reports for the lights. I need to dig them up.

The first of the controller videos is coming tomorrow...

Supposedly we can get our LED strips right now without the controllers. I've emailed Brandon repeatedly about this with no reply. Has anyone taken delivery of their strips yet???

Look up 3 posts. Lots of people have. I got your email. You're in the next batch going out tomorrow.

So it's been so long I've forgotten and maybe it's changed. Does the controller need a power supply in addition to the controller still or do you just plug it straight into AC power?

I'm going to need tips on using these for next week.

Is there a PDF with setup tips with basic options?

I dont have a controller but do have the strips.

Have you gone further in your tests and can you share your setup?

I need to mimic a car interior from Fast and Furious 6 (Dom and Letty race scene).

Crappy thing is I might have to use a GoPro for the floor board view.
