Early shipments (fixed strips, kits) will start going out tomorrow. Processing your requests now.

I've been sick and mostly horizontal the last 2 days. I'm hoping to be able to get through the rest of your emails this weekend and get the early partial deliveries out. A couple have already been sent. If I'm still sick and not able to do it all this weekend I'll likely delay my flight a day or 2. I'm supposed to fly overseas Monday. One way or another I'll get it done.

They look bright :D

I think 2016 will bring 200 lumens / watt (courtesy of Philips ... or maybe even Cree) ... and one tech or the other giving us deeper blues (probably Philips) .. which should sort out R12 downwards.

Status Update: I'm still quite sick, but I'm optimistic I will be back to work on this tomorrow. My flight is Tuesday (not Monday like I thought) and if I can't get everything done before I'm supposed to go, I will bump my trip back a couple days.

Guess what came in the mail today?

I think by REDUSER standards this has to count as Best. Valentine's Day. Gift. Ever.

Awesome pics, Bruce! Excited to see what you do with these!

Man... Excited, anxious & quite envious over here!! Congrats Bruce, I'm excited for you, thanks for the report! Brandon don't kill yourself but do get well soon!

Update: Tomorrow I'll definitely be back answering your emails and arranging controller upgrades and early partial shipments for those that requested them. It may take a couple days to get through the 200+ emails I have from all of you, but I'm on it. I have also bumped my flight back until Thursday night so I can get all of this done before I go. I was still sick today, but feeling better tonight. Thanks for your patience. I may also have a surprise tomorrow...

Controller Prototypes arrived today!

I have confirmed they are 100% flicker free at 120fps!

The dimming adjustments are also nice and smooth!

Here is the prototype in action:

(daylight strip, tungsten tube, 2700k overhead lighting)

Here is an up close test:

(daylight strip)

The top half of the picture below is a dimmed strip that is 100% flicker free with the controller we are getting. The bottom half of the picture is what it looks like under the same conditions with a standard dimmer that is not flicker free.

And so it's clear, the only thing really prototype about this unit right now is the aesthetics. There will be knobs, it will be black, the printing will change a bit, etc...

Great day! Very excited!

Looking good :)

Busy here (another bloody CGI job) so sadly no time to get involved in early testing... but these results look great.

Look forward to an update/email on controllers/tubes/china balls etc

But, look after yourself first! :)

This is shaping up real nice... All this build up has me quite anxious over here, Brandon send me a tracking # for my fixed strip! I feel like i'm going thru with drawl over here, I need my hit!!! :willy_nilly:

Can i control two different strip with only one controller ? (simply by unclipping it and put it to the other strip connection?)

I am happy to beta test new controller, I can test against a number of cameras
