hi All

I've asked this before regarding the Red ONE but now moving onto EPIC I'd love it if somebody could confirm the exact size of a single pixel on the sensor.
i.e. red ONE M is 5.4 microns (or near enough, as confirmed by the much esteemed Mr. Nattress), how many microns is EPIC ?

cheers../daniel

ps. this is for some moco rotational maths

epic uses the exact same sensor as the r1.. being cutting edge, unfortunately means using three year+ old sensor technology, for now.. so that would be 5.4 microns

yeah, that 5.4 was for the M, not MX sensor, so I'm not sure if the MX has exactly the same size pixels. I kind of assume it does.

Pixels or photosites on the MX sensor are exactly the same size (5.4 microns) as on the old M sensor. EPIC, Scarlet-X and RED One MX all use the same sensor.

hey Jeff, thanks for confirming that, i suspected as much but it is good to know for sure.
