FYI iOS version seems happy with 5.3.9 beta.. GIO SCOPE tool recognized and can be enabled / disabled (no zone select yet as I'm not sure it is already part of the RCP protocol) and everything else works as expected (will can start adding new features like full menu navigation and other cool stuff).

foolcontrol OS X version that was coded much earlier using pre-API RCP 'core' commands needs a bit of cosmetic work before it can play nicely with 5.3.x but I'm on it and it shouldn't be too long...

foolcontrol OS X 1.28 released. same download link on the webpage (just download, unzip and replace old version to "upgrade")

adds initial support for 5.3.9 beta FW...
New features will be added soon but at least all should work fine now if you run latest beta, including enabling disabling of Gio Scope.
I will work on lift gamma gain, menu navigation and other new stuff asap both for iOS and OS X apps.

Couple of questions particularly for OS X version. Apologies if they've been covered.

Can we control multiple Epics at once? Simultaneous start/stop, programmed focus pulls, etc?

Can we use it to drive the Red WMD when using PL glass?

Right now the app is mono camera centric but :
- you can list several cameras to connect to each one after the other, save and re-apply settings etc
- you can open several instances of the app to control several cameras from the same computer
- you can setup master slave (using a GIG-e router + cables to as many cameras as you want). If you foolcontrol the master camera (also via GIG-E or HOTLink..) it will control all the others at the same time. Tested and working fine, let me know if you need any help in setting this up.

Foolcontrol can drive WMD. Still have to finish working on adding some of the WMD options + Iris / Zoom pulls and fine control and publish an update but have it working in my 'internal' betas. Will try to finish this in the coming weeks but get in touch if you have questions or specific needs regarding this (It works via Gig-E cable and REDLink module but not with modules using the CTRL port like the HOTLink as the WMD also uses that same connector)

i just upgraded to the latest Dragon release build which has lift/gamma/gain controls available in the look menu. I thought I read Foolcontrol automatically incorporates any menu changes because it is getting the info from the camera, but i can t find it in Foolcontrol. If it needs to be updated, may I suggest a graphical representation like redline X, that would be amazing.

It can get new color modes or framerates automatically but in the case of lift gamma gain I need to add the UI for it.

awesome! It's such a great app. If you can make a graphical representation of L/G/G this will give it a leg up on the Red implementation in-camera, as it is numerical only.

Mikael - just a foolish question (lol) - I am awaiting the return of my Scarlet from its Dragonization. While the serial number stays the same, I am not sure about any internal identification. Do you know if I will I need to do anything for my Foolcontrol license to continue working?
