When can I buy the Al Canon Mount?
Will the autofocus work with the Tokina 11-16 on scarlet/epic?
Hope we can order Al canon mount today. My debit card is ready and willing!
Guess no aluminum mount today.
For underwater I would think twice with alluminium.
AL Expansion coefficient 22.2
TI Expansion coefficient 8.6
You take camera from hot deck to cold water, I don't know what will happen with the back focus?
I love it... So much so that PL mounted EPIC has become my number two body.
Mark... try Samyang lenses... fully manual, insanely smooth focus action, bloody sharp and.... bam... for what they are, they rock.
I've seen photos taken with Samyang lenses with some pretty disturbing looking distortion. Check out this review...

DD.
Mate,
On that lens and the 8mm I agree with you. In fact I will go even further and say don't even look at the 14mm... Wipe it from your mind with a mind eraser machine
However the 24mm, 35mm and 85mm are simply stellar performers.
I will shoot side by side with my L series and I will challenge anybody here to spot the difference
And if anybody can qualitatively spot it, I will blend all my Santana lenses
FYI I use a Tokina -16 as my wide as well - it is the best wide performer out there IMHO...
