Does anyone know if you will have an option for higher frame rates at 2K?

Yes.Does anyone know if you will have an option for higher frame rates at 2K?
How is 1080p going to be handled in-camera?
For at least the first years I don't see myself shooting 5K for anything but theatrical films or television.
For corporate jobs, etc, 1080p is going to be enough.
Is there a "1080p RAW" option?
Yes... Canon mounts are complete and functioning ( just fine tuning the auto focus and adding more and more lenses to the database ) . Nikon mount en route.
Question: Does the Epic-S/X still window the sensor for 2K and 3K, or does it do an actual scale? (I know the Red-One windows the sensor)
Thanks
what size is the sensor of the EPIC-S? sorry if this was posted somewhere in here. didn't see that info. thanks.
Recording lower than full resolution with RED has always meant a windowed sensor unless using the proxy module or recording the HD-SDI out signal. Think 16mm from 35mm. If I'm wrong someone please step in.So, there isn't a 2K record option that uses the full sensor.
Which is physically larger than S35 3-perf.The Epic-X sensor and Scarlet S35 (Now Epic-S) are listed as 30 x 15 mm.
...should we expect $17,000 for an ff35 brain? After the s35 models RED will focus on 2/3", then perhaps dive into FF35 land? This is assuming the November 2009 announcement is still relevant...
.. Do you still pull focus manually with an Epic or use a touch screen? Is it practical to start with EF lenses and convert to PL at some point in the future (factory upgrade)? Ah, new possibilities raise new questions...
So, there isn't a 2K record option that uses the full sensor, is that it?
I can manage, I'm just curious.
I hope motion work doesn't move into FF35 arena. I'm sick and tired of the uber short DOF world.
