What lense is that ? The 17-50 or a RPP ?

Yeahp ;)

Just don't remove the hood off your 17-50 OR...

GOOD BY WARRANTY!!

So that means, its possible to remove that BIG hood by yourself?

that makes this Lens much smaller, can someone tell me, how much the lens weights with out the hood?

thanks

NO I didn't say that, removing the Frint Hood/Element on the 17-50 is not an easy task you should do yourself,
unless you ahve some experience with Lens servicing as I do, and even I will not do it, I would take it to a Lens specialist like Duclos and such.

As far as weight you don't loose much at all removing it, so if its for the weight alone, is not worth it.

But Again, IT WILL VOID YOUR WARRANTY!!

thanks ketch, well i dont have this lens anyway, its to big and to heavy, but when i see this pic of the removed lens it looks really compact and now i interested again, i would love to have thes lens around 1 kg, like the old one.

meabe its possible, to ask if red could deliver the lens without the hood?

Clayton, what music did you use for your 2010 Reel ? Love it.

Very nice Reel BTW...

Thanks Stefan, the XX is the band.

Anybody of an idea how many stage 2 folks there are...perhaps this should be moved to another thread.
