  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

EPIC accessories from ActionProducts

... for now as promised - here is "apollo"

Our TopPlate is made of 7075 Airspace Aluminum, offers several 1/4" and 3/8" treads. As mentioned before it comes with a female 2pin LEMO connector for power supply. This allows to connect basically any adapter cable. All pre-orders ship with a P-Tap AB adapter cable.

... the plate offers 2x 2pin Lemo, 1x 4pin Lemo and 1x 3pin Fischer power connectors. Though the other cable your HD-SDI and Sync connection are transferred to the top plate and into BNC connections for better access.

It IS incredible! Just came back from a shoot with ours, and seriously - it's a joy to work with! And it looks cool, too... Beautifully built, clever design. Love it. You are not getting this one back Daryl :)

The cables are not fixed to the side of the camera - only placed. We will be offering some small clip-ons to keep them in position. At the moment you can leave them as they are or use some velcro or so. In combination with the upcoming "electra" the cables will run though the shell of the electra - also providing a internal power connection. The thin SYNC cable is shorter then on this picture.

And last but not least - showing the tilt ability for perfect shoulder adjustment ...

Beautiful work Daryl. I'm very keen to buy.

Just wondering, is the pad attached to the aluminum with velcro?

That would a good thing for me, because I might need to adjust the pad position for some setups (when in studio mode on tripod to avoid interfering with the tripod sliding base plate.).

THANKS!
