  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

DSMC2 Release Build v7.0.2

Does anyone else use Canon CN-E prime lenses and have lost communication with the camera since FW7.2 or is it working for them? My Canon stills lenses work but not the CN-E primes. I have opened a support ticket but interested is anyone else is affected?

This...I have been having an audio glitch, but didn't know what was causing it...hope this fixes it!

anyupdates from any of those who sent an email to red? i just sent one....

I updated my Stormtrooper and what I notice is a LCD blink on focus zoon on/off. Both Legacy and IPP2 mode.
 
So I sent email to red support. They forward link to try new firmware. Seems to work better i suggest all those who are having similar issues to do the same. Whew. Got my camera back to functioning again.

Is the updated version now live or was it a one off beta they sent you?
 
Just to have a little balance, on My Weapon Helium, this firmware has been working with no issues at all. But to notice I only use PL mount lenses, so I don't have the erroneous readings on iris, as I get none...

And while toggling Magnify do you have any artefacts on the LCD?
 
updated my camera last night, had my epic w crash 3 times today when switching to playback to see my clips. Screen just went completely black. First time i've ever had my camera crash since i got it.
 
On my Weapon MG, I have odd almost re-power up artifacts happening when changing resolutions and toggling magnify. Uploaded an Iphone video on my screen when doing this (just has the resolution change but same symptoms with magnify). Private link below. Any one else experiencing this?

Nope. I don't have this.

Also Weapon MG here on 7.0.2.
