  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

interesting to understand if it works in low light mode.

I'm seeing the same issue with my Scarlet-W. I see the vertical lines but my screen also goes black. No GUI or image. Changing the resolution or coming out of magnify brings it back. Fortunately, doesn't happen to my monitor over SDI and I have the side handle to drive the menus.
 
I needed this yesterday with all those damn audio glitches that were going off while I was shooting.. Hopefully, this fixes it like it states in the log sheet... Thanks again guys..
 
That second of glitch is enough to drive me crazy, please RED... fix it.

also will this firmware help with gemini files showing up as "offline" in RCXP

It's a tiny, momentary pop that happens with anything running into the audio input, and happens irregularly throughout recording. Excited for this to be fixed :)
 
Do not rush too quickly on this new update ... there are still a lot of problems to fix ... and new ones (slow start-up, vertical lines, curious flash between actions from the menu to the image of the monitor ...) .
That said, nothing serious ...
 
Yes my mistake I updated as I am leaving for a while and I though to do it soon...now I have this vertical lines after magnify toggle and also when I go in play...anyway I submitted a ticket to red...
 
...btw I have now the weird 2.9 on my 50mm Canon Lens.... Ok...my question...but why release a firmware update if all the issua are not checked first? Come on guyssssss!!!!
 
Update - I was able to introduce the diagonal tearing again on my 7inch screen last night by toggling magnify a half dozen times or so then was able to get it to go away with another three toggles...this was supposed to be fixed but maybe I found another way to introduce it??? Will try up up down down left right left right A B select start next to see what it does ha ha... Trying to keep positive since I can't roll back and for the most part everything major is working but these new F-stops on my Canon still lenses are starting to bother me. I will try and get a ticket started by tonight as well for all three issues I am seeing.

I see the vertical lines on a Raven with 7.0.2...
