Any update of the Scarlet-W to Epic-W upgrade. Still no news from my october 11 order.
Will the Post>Look>Effects return (with alchemy, unsharp, high pass sharpening, 1D & 3D LUTs, Levels, etc)?
In RCX the "Post : Look : Effects" panel has been renamed to Post : Image : Effects. It no longer contains 3D LUT but Levels, Alchemy Group, Unsharp Mask, High Pass Sharpen, Film, and 1D Lut are still in it.
If it isn't visible, you may need to enable it. To enable it right-click on any panel header (like "Look Manager" or "Image : Primary") and in the pop-up menu put a check mark next to the "Post : Image : Effects" panel name.
With Sigma 18-35 f1.8 on Red Canon mount, I don't see lens data, and menu freezes.
Why is 3D LUT gone from redcine x?
Hi, my friend Epic Dragon won't accept firmware update from 6.3.27 and above
Tried everything: Hard reset, ssd module change, lcd change, lens mount change - no effects
Camera able to downgrade to anything below 6.3.27, each time firmware update process perform successfully but wont go above 6.3.27

This is a short term situation. Once Red releases an SDK, with IPP2 support in it, then your favorite app will integrate it and you won't need to use RCX to pre-process your footage. This will always occur when the tech is new. Even once a new SDK is released, it takes some 3rd parties longer than others to integrate it. Assimilate Scratch and DaVinci Resolve will most likely be first within a week or two of release. Adobe will take longer.I've always just brought my footage straight into Premiere (and worry about changing red settings later), but it seems, now more than ever, that there's an argument for "processing" each "reel" in RCXP first.
