I've done two 10 minute green light flashing runs and nothing on the 7" and the green lights keep flashing. Running off AC. Powered down and hard reset with a 30 second wait time. Nothing but green lights flashing on the side of the camera.

EDIT: reloaded 5.2.41 monitor came up in about 15 minutes. RE_reloaded 5.3.29 green lights stopped flashing after 30 minutes. Powered down. Looks like everything is AOK. Have a great evening!!

The updated manual says the on-brain mic inputs have the built-in (soft) limiter -- is that Dragon-specific or a typo?

I just tried on MX (to confirm) and it definitely is not an available option (though no mic was plugged in)...

Any word on what the actual difference is between REDcolor3 and REDcolor4? A quick search only found me this:

The new color science focuses on a few things but alot of attention was spent making improvements deep in the blue channel which not only helps "normal" shooting situations but also improves things considerably for our underwater bubble blowers

Cleaner blue channel? Or something else?

Does this mean you support pretty much all of the modern sigmas? E.g. 150-600mm F5? (I think I read somewhere that all of the new Sigma lenses use a consistent interface for iris control).

Yes.

MENU -> SETTINGS -> SETUP -> KEYS ->ADVANCED -> KEY SOURCE -> REDMOTE
Choose your User Key and Key Action.

MENU -> PRESETS -> CREATE -> KEY
Choose RM (REDmote) Keys to save (or choose ALL).

Backup PRESET to SSD and save it on your computer.

Has anyone tested the nikon g primes yet? Like the 24mm 1.4, 35mm 1.4 and 50mm 1.4 Gs? I don't see them listed. I can't control the f stop when I shoot! Hope this firmware update finally fixed the issue... But why are specific nikon lenses included in the firmware notes?

I have the 24 and 50 and use them without issue, i'd submit a ticket if your having issues. Specific lenses in the notes usually means they were added to the list of supported lenses.

Really!? I have never been able to get them to work! Iris will not respond to the commands I give via touch screen. It's perpetually stuck at ~f/8. Anything passed that point is fine, like f/11 and f/16, but anything larger than ~f/8 the iris does not budge... I have a ticket already in with RED and they are having me wait for these firmware upgrades. Just to be clear, we're talking about these lenses correct?

Thanks Chad, I e-mailed RED about this. If this update does not work, I'm gonna send in my Nikon mount to be checked out. You are the first individual to confirm that those Nikon Gs are working... this has been so frustrating!

Can someone help me out? Were are the film camera type shutter angels...45 degree angle, 180 degree etc. not just the 1/250 etc.
