  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

It sounds like power was removed in the middle of an upgrade. If this was the case the camera will re-program the LCD on next boot cycle.

Please let the green lights blink for ~7 minutes. The blinking indicates an upgrade is in progress. After the upgrade, the LCD should be operational again. If after ~7 min the LCD is still not functional, please contact RED support.

It'd be great if there was a way to indicate which of these upgrades/updates are Dragon or MX specific... There seems to be a lot of usefulness with this build.

Also is there an RCXp with DC2 and RC4 support? I didn't think there was....
 
I had the same issue with my 7". waited for the upgrade lights blinked for several minutes as the progress bar moves along. When that is finished the screen goes black (very dark blue). The side handle reads the camera is on. After several more minutes to just make sure I plugged in an SDI monitor. That shows the image, I pressed record and it starts recording but wont stop. I had to force shutdown to stop it.

All fine after reboot though.

Is there a way to record RedLogFilm but display RedGamma 4 on individual monitors? It will be a nice feature to have.

Hi!

Did U 'sign in" to the RED store/register?
 
Nikon 20mm 1.8 AFS didn't make it this time. Hopefully next time. RATS!! Maybe next build. It is a stellar lens and reasonably priced.

This happened to me when I first upgraded to Scarlet Dragon. All I had to do was email my bombsquad rep and he unlocked it for me. It seems that there may be a lag with the upgrade being linked to your user account.
