Shot on the Zenmuse X5R in 30p/UHD. Inspire 1 and Osmo were both used with the 12mm and 45mm Olympus lenses. Link for the DNG sequence is in the description of the video.

God DAMN Luke! And the soundtrack and sound design... adds so much to the viewing experience. Really enjoyed this. Now go collaborate with Attenborough on a project. This seems right up his alley.

Thanks Luke. What's the X5R downside? Like motion compression, ugly clip, noise, DR, moire etc. Have you had the chance to push it to failure on any front?

So far I really haven't noticed anything too concerning. DNG files are pretty nasty to work with but I have known that since the 5D Mark III Raw days, so I wasn't really surprised there. DR is pretty impressive. The motion compression has been a big gripe of mine with the previous DJI cameras (X3 and X5) but so far it has looked good on this one.

I put up a shot for download in the description of that video if you wanted to dig into it a bit.

Really Nice Work. Still loving my 14bit raw files from the Magic 5D Mark III.. What ND's are you using?

Wow, nice work Luke. Which shots were OSMO? I love mine and would like to upgrade to the X5R.

Hey Barry,

- The 2nd and 3rd shots in Yellowstone are handheld from the car with Osmo.

- The shot at 0:48 of the Tetons is from the car. Hanging out the passenger side of the car with the Osmo upside down to get as low as possible to the grass. Panning with my right hand on the iPad.

- 1:04 looking up in the forest is the Osmo on a custom built Carbon Fiber jib.

- 1:08 at Yellowstone is the Osmo. I'm resting it on a bridge while my wife pans with the iPad.

- 1:16 of the Tetons handheld with the 45mm lens I believe.

Thanks for that! Care to share your DNG workflow? :-)

Adobe Camera Raw in AE 2015 CC. Custom preset within ACR to get footage similar to "D-Log". Custom LUTs for D-Log as well as a few other tweaks. Will be doing a full on color tutorial for this in a week!

Just tell me where to Subscribe and sell those LUT's for $19.95 and deal!

Beautiful stuff Luke. So somehow you squeezed in a trip to Ireland to get the Gap of Dunloe? (0:41) and Kerry Cliffs (1:21) and a few other Ireland shots? Did you run into any issues there with a UAV?

Good eye :) Gap of Dunloe...no issues at all as we were the only people up there for the most part. I got permission to film at the Kerry Cliffs and it was really windy so there was almost no one there either.
