  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

I don't think it's the Red way either but it makes more economical sense from a logistics and R&D dollars standpoint.
Please note Each sensor is physically different in terms of size...
Only same sensors with different capabilities I can see are the Epic and Scarlet S35 and the Epic and Scarlet FF35

I'd like to see that RED ROVER on the moon, maybe China or India will take one up for a small tour of the place when they go up there

A 3D version using solar panels would be great. We could tune in every so often to see where on the moon the RED ROVER was.

Great news RED team!

It's called the 'Buy one, or the other'

Now please, stop asking the same question over and over. It has been answered several times, take 5 mins of your own time and read some posts.

Jim, to my understanding the Fixed Lens Scarlet will have a single module that contains a battery storage and monitor. Right?
If so, can we hook that module to an Epic-X and have THE MOST portable solution for handheld or something?

My plan is to get a Fixed Lens Scarlet (without the discount) and get an EPIC-X by returning my RED One

Thank you. This is a great day for Digital.
Please... FMG Battery... Go to bed.

Can someone at Red who knows the numbers/algorithms tell me what is the Scarlett S35 and FF35 DSMC equivalent to in terms of the available digital dslrs?

thanks!

One more try: What's Fly-By-Wire??????
This is a HUGE assumption;
the fixed lens Scarlet will have a miniRED Zoom where Fly-By-Wire means you can control recording, zoom and focus via the RED-mote

David,

Are you reading the other posts here that have answered your question or do you keep asking the same question over and over because all you want is for Jim to personally tell you?

I think it's $33K not $35K - minus whatever you sell your old brain for...

Keep in mind that is a HUGE assumption on my part.
