What a coincidence! I'm expecting some Birger footage sometime after 10:30 tomorrow ;-)

Erik called me at 8:40 last night from Fedex (Boston, like Ft. lauderdale has a very late fedex cutoff at the airport.) so I am expecting a box in less than an hour and 31 minutes.

However, my camera is coming back from a rental ups red so may not get here til noon.

If my checking is correct David Mullen's thread is only 88,000 and even Jim's highest total is about 57,000. Anybody that doesn't see that the Birger mount is a key component of the RED revolution should just look at the numbers.

I just looked and build 16 not posted yet - which is when Jim (and I) consider the RED to be sort of officially out of BETA and a production ready camera. So it looks like Erik's timing is pretty good.

Okay, Erik shipped it last night - to the right street address but used the zipcode from the AMEX credit card I used back in November - which was one I had with a zipcode in Sebring, FL instead of here in Weston (Ft. Lauderdale). It is at the Lake Wales station which is 175 miles away - so it will be here tomorrow. Damn! My bad for confusing the shipping system.

I blacked out the number to avoid tempting any of the desperate birgerites.
