  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

These are some cool ads. Good timing as well.
I think some heads will turn on this.

Quite amazing, though, how far RED has actually penetrated the production world
with no previous advertisements before this.

But this is motherfuckin' AWESOME, and I had to log in to say so. This has been one hell of a ride, and I'm glad to see you guys puffing your chests out a bit. Scam? Vaporware? Ha. Kiss our asses.

Keep kicking ass. You guys are at the VERY TIP TOP OF MY LIST OF great individuals, and deserve recognition that the industry at some levels will be reluctant to give. Cough, technical achievement, cough. Fuck them though. If you get it great, if not...take solace. We love you, and that's what matters: the opportunities you've created for those that would not have access to this level of technology otherwise. Democratizing entertainment, and the stories that go along with it.

You haven't heard from me for a bit, but I'm here. I've just been out using the tools you've blessed us with. ;) Damn this stuff is so bad ass. Can't tell you enough.

Those Digital Photo Pro ads are pretty nice too! Glad to see you're letting the world know about your cameras and their extreme performance envelope. I know fashion photographers have caught on waiting on sports photographers to see the (RED) light.

And btw, I quit doing the old slave ship routine. EPIC is now at the backbone of my workflow whenever possible, and I'm building a financial model to support a purchase now. :) The size and length of my productions are making ownership more relevant by the job, and I can't wait to be a proud owner -- and produce my first feature.

And I'm not saying that to be sycophantic, but because you did for us what Apple once did -- you shook up a stagnate and elitist industry, effectively giving the everyman the chance at standing on the same playing field as the individuals who can throw money at a screen. That philosophy coupled with your masterful engineering and product design is what earns my devotion, and apparently many others. Very proud to have witnessed the entire story.
