  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Adobe Premiere Pro CC - Native REDCODE RAW Sequence Presets

not working on mac version...help?

1.go to application
2. enter folder adobe premeire cc 2014
3. right clic on adobe premiere cc 2014 and select "Show package contents"
4. enter in Contens/Settings/SequencePresets
5. put folder RED DRAGON R3d oohh yess PHIL DRAGON ;)

and BOOM :)

i did the same and Premiere CC crashed each time. i deleted RED folder and its ok now.
 
what's your workflow/export setup in regards to
- memory vs performance setup
- memory reserved for others apps

currently exporting a 23 min 1080 timeline w mixed RED, prores ninja and c100 footage and it's on the 6 hr mark
dont know if that's normal

imac i7 3.5GHz Quad-core Intel Core i7, Turbo Boost up to 3.9GHz
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 780M 4GB GDDR532GB 1600MHz DDR3
32GB 1600MHz DDR3 SDRAM - 4X8GB

Awesome work Phil. Will this work for Premier 6 too ?

The Sequence Presets yes, but I'm not sure there was a Red Importer update for CS6 and Dragon. Meaning you likely can't see or use native .R3D clips. It's been a long while since I've used CS6 though, but I also know that Adobe is only updating the CC when it comes to importers, color science, and feature updates.
