I'm curious if anyone else is dealing with this. When I use FrameFlex to punch into 4K footage, it's definitely not crisp at all... it looks like a regular zoom, not a true 2K downconvert like you'd get from RedCineX. I tried it on the source side as well as in the sequence with the same result.
