I just got back from NAB and obviously heard the news yesterday about the Dragons now being available. I was probably the loudest "whiner" on here about the Dragon being yanked from under us, which is what we all thought. At the time, I was beyond irritated because when Scarlet launched, that was the biggest selling point for the Scarlet over an equally good R1MX - you get the option to upgrade. It's why I bought a Scarlet, at least, instead of a reliable R1MX.
So, honestly, thank you guys for delivering on your promise and restoring my faith in RED, as a company. And thanks for actually listening to us, unlike some other companies who just push product and call it a day. With all of the competition appearing, RED needs its 'family' as much as we need you guys going forth to great great films and content. I hope people wake up from the Alexa-zombie-daze to realize how great already RED is... especially with this new Dragon coming out.
