  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Why HDR is not enabled in the new firmware of the Dragon EPIC HDR?

Unless you're using a motion mount it should just work as before... (MM and HDR both need to control the camera shutter so they cannot be used simultaneously)
 
Mr. Holland is unfortunate nopoder use this two tools simultaneously. Also, I've been doing tests with the Dragon EPIC and the new firmware 5.2.28 and TI PL mount. Noise in low lights, green and yellow dots give be IR filter polarizer with more aggregates ND. The image is sharp mounted back with this new filter. You think how?

Yo tratare de contactar a Carlos directamente. Sospecho que trata de usar el MOTION MOUNT y abilitar HDRx simultaneamente.

Hi Charlie ,my Epic M Dragon after ungrade to V5.2.28 still have HDR modr in the menu, but another Epic X Dragon after ungrade to V5.2.28 can't find the HDR in Menu, it is missing !!!!!
 
Jason, as suggested above, did you check if the one with HDR disabled has a motion mount installed ?
That would be the answer as both can't be used together since they both have to take control of the camera shutter... if that is not the case open a ticket on RED's support site and they will have you send a camera log for further inspection.
 
Thanks Mikael, My Epic M Dragon was ok,just another Epic X Dragon from Rental house doesn't work it out, will ask Red support about this,
