  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Who shipped their scarlet for a EPIC-X?

Epic-X # 5514 "Adonis" arrived today.
 
Scarlet 0095 (lucky me) was just re-born as Epic 5557. Arrived today.
 
Sent my Scarlet #429 in on the 18th and my Epic arrives tomorrow morning. I'll update this post with Serial # when I unbox it.

I wouldn't name anything after a George RR Martin character. I would be too paranoid it was going to die within a few days of getting comfortable. ;)
 
What about "cosmetic repairs" ? The base of my camera is a little scratched and the top as well where the Top mount was screwed on, nothing more than you would expect from friction. Has anyone been charged for this type of repairs? Mine will be on its way tomorrow, I hope the return of the Epic is not delayed because I have to transfer funds for this reason...

Well alright! I will be an official RED EPIC owner next week I can't wait to run test. So much to try so much to test...Thank you jesus!
 
Could some of you who have received cameras recently please post the dates you sent your camera in and when you received your upgrade. My camera arrived at Red on the 24th May. On the 6th June I got confirmation that my camera had passed all its tests and on the 7th my order was processed. I am trying to plan an up coming shoot and was wondering what the average and the longest time people have waited for there Epics
 
Mark contact your rep because you should get a verify address e-mail by Thursday and it will be ship by Friday if so you will get it by Tuesday June 18th if I am correct. All together it takes about a month to get the camera because my credit card payment is due and I don't have the camera yet.
