Who shipped their scarlet for a EPIC-X?

I sent mine and FedEx confirmed they received it a week ago but I have not heard back from RED yet. Hopefully the Epic trade will go through next week.

Do you now where I can find the serial of my SSD module ?

It should be right in the center of the side that attaches to the camera. above the connector pins.

Thanks. But my SSD module is at RED and they need the serial to send me the correct one. I was wondering if I can find it somewhere...

That makes more sense. on the unit it is so large and obvious where it is located, I was wondering what was up.

Thank you both for your help but finally they told me they can retrieve the SSD serial on their own (based on my camera serial). I just have to wait.
It's hard not being able to shoot with my new EPIC

For people who already got their EPICs

How long did the shipping take? Did they ask what you wanted to pay for? Mine cleared 2 fridays ago and i waited all last week for them to send my EPIC. of course monday was a holiday so day 5 of processing is monday. I have a shoot thursday and need my cam. Might have to drive down from SF this week to pick it up unless its 2 day shipping!

They didn't ask me what I wanted to pay for, but shipped it two day fedex; so i presume that's the standard shipping. As soon as it was sent, I got an email with the tracking number. As could be expected, it took two days to get to me.

Mine shipped from Red on Thursday afternoon and Cleared customs Friday. I could have received it Saturday if i was home. I get it today.

I need to test mine today. I got it Friday and had a bunch of family stuff to handle this weekend. All weekend, I was itching to play with my new Epic.

I plan on doing a bunch of tests, but if anyone else has had specific issues please mention them in this thread.

I cut plastic card to fit (approximately 3"x3") and taped it securely in place. I also used the original box and filled the spaces where the lens mount and SSD would be with foam. I am now enjoying my new EPIC...
