I wonder because if there is an unknown plan to do the upgrades, it would behoove anyone wanting to upgrade sooner to get their payment in for their Epic X even before they get their email. As we've seen, procrastinators are paying for not taking possession of their Red Ones when first available.

Dooh! Anyway, I was told by Alan Piper of RED Europe, that it would not help me to put funds in my REDaccount in advance...My order will be processed in England.

I got the impression it was wise to pre-fund the account. My account funded about 1 week ago. But I have not received the much desired EMail yet.

Plus if the money is with red, it can't be spent on lesser things

Just got the first email too. Red One #1974, delivered mi-june...
I did a wire transfer of $15.000 a month ago, and now I'm also wondering how this will work, knowing that I just got notice that my camera woud ship from Red UK and that my invoice would be in British £... Does anyone know how this works ?
