  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Who ordered EPIC stage 2? Let's try and count?

Perhaps the email got lost in your junk mail or you are not properly listed as Stage 2. Good that you are communicating with BS rep now... Heck I would be concerned.

I've noticed this as well. My theory is that speed of delivery could depend on how many accessories are ordered with the camera so they can be shipped all at once, or could even have something to do with the ability of individual bomb squad reps. Just theory... but I'm confident there is no conspiracy against individuals.

I'm by no means calling "conspiracy". The black list comment was more of a joke. I'm pretty sure I would know if I were black listed.

I'm sure I'll have it in a few days. I'm just impatiently waiting. Like varuca sault from willy wonka, "don't care how, I want it now!":lol:

Hi Nils,

My Epic-X was shipped form the US. I didn't get a choice. Switzerland not being in the EU however, it doesn't really change anything for me, but would be much more complicated for Red having to import the camera into the UK then having to export it to Switzerland.

I see. I wonder if it's the same for other european countries or if all cameras ship from the US for now. Does anyone know ?
 
I've got the information that my EPIC-X will ship from RED UK. R1 #598 was delivered Mid Feb 08, so I'm counting the days....

My camera is coming directly from USA, and should be shipped within the next days. When asked had a choice whether to pay to UK or California.
 
I'm curious...people like RED #103 are still in white but then we're at #1740 whose got notification so...can we assume that they have also had notification? seems crazy to go that far ahead and still have people with no notification...
or is there something that I'm not understanding

I know you've already had one in your capable hands, otherwise I would have invited you over to come and test it. Well, you know where there's one...

I believe the original serial numbers were assigned when the deposit was paid. Some folks took a long time to raise the full payment, so that R1 was delivered much later than other similar serial numbers. Higher serial numbers who are coming due are those who paid their Red One and took delivery immediately, and enlisted first in the Stage 2 program.

Can you reference the person from Red who said that it also depends on the time entered into the Stage 2 program? I've read differing posts. Some say it doesn't matter and some say it does. I'm hoping it doesn't matter but if you heard from an authoritative source, it'd be good to know for certain. Thanks!
