  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Who ordered EPIC stage 2? Let's try and count?

Got "The email" - just mentioning it because I said I would.

Which email? A "you're almost ready, finalize and pay up" or "here;s your Fedex tracking #"?
 
I would be careful jumping to any conclusions here.. there are a lot of variables at play on who gets what when and how quickly.

Is it basically in order of Redone SN/paid/shipped? IIRC I sent wire transfer for the R1 a few days before I got the email, and was shipped first couple days of 2008, so wondering how a later serial could be ahead? Not complaining, just curious and anxious like a kid at Christmastime.

Got my epic-x anticipatory email, just waiting to sort out accessories before sending wire.

Jarred noted that there are multiple variables in delivery order/schedule so my experience is but a random data point, that said...

I took delivery of my RedOne #19 on Red Day Zero, August 31st, 2007.

I signed up for stage 2 when it was made available.

I have my Epic-X in hand as I post this on Sept. 13th, 2011.

And talking about waiting for a baby to arrive, I just received my stage 2 allocation email, shipping in 3-5 days, baby!!! And my partner, Dana, is Tplus8 from her due date. I guess being born on labour day was too on the nose for this child. It's a race! A baby race!!!!

I just got the e-mail, I just got the e-mail, I just got THE e-mail!

That would be for Red One #500 aka "Stalker" received in Feb. 2008, reminder: Stage 2s are shipped via Red One ship date and not by serial number.

It says "We estimate we will have your Stage 2 package allocated to you within the next week or so."

Well, it's going to be a looooooonnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnng week and more, as I then have to wait for the camera to ship to Switzerland.

Anyhow, production is definitely ramping up, congrats Red Team and thank you for your efforts! I am looking forward to shooting Epic pictures.

Yeeeeeessssss!!! I just got the email ("Stage 2 package allocated to you within the week or so"), Red One #598 received in Feb 2008. Got my new favorite lens Canon EF 135/2.0 L USM AF a few days ago, can't wait to test this nice combo.

Ah shame... can't somebody bring it to you when it arrives? Well, I'm sure you've thought out all the possible solutions, how frustrating.

What, Jim isn't delivering your Epic personnaly in time for your shoot?! What kind of customer service is that?

Well at least your Red One must chuckling, a little bit, because it will at least be doing this next shoot right, after...
