Yeah, we all know that there are a lot more, but we can see the pace and average out by percentage how quickly it's moving up the serial numbers
My guess is there are probably 6 times as many stage 2 participants than presented here.
Got the "Ready to ship" - email. Waiting for a FedEx Number. Hope the German customs office does not do its usual thing and takes a week deceiding if its an animal, a plant or a camera....
Jochen (#74 on this list) .... extremly enthusiastic!

I'm skeptical of your 6x number for stage 2. With the short period of time and the way the economy was at the time of the $5000 deposit, I think a lot of people that would normally have wanted to were a little tight and decided to just wait for stage 3.
Also remember that when RedOnes first started shipping the economy was fine and house prices were still going up so there was a lot of easy money around - home refinance and equity lines. Now, and last year when the deposit was due, a lot of people are upside down and many have had their home equity lines canceled even if they have excellent credit, and with a lot of economic uncertainty it wasn't as easy for a lot of R1 owners to just write a $5000 check.
My guess is the real number of stage 2s is only about 2X what is posted here. Virtually all of the others will figure out a way to do stage 3 though - it is just too good a deal to pass up.
I can't read the text with those dark colors. The older red was easy to read. The dark read is not, at least against the gray background. Same for green, a lighter green would work better.
EDIT: The orangish color is easier to read.
EDIT2: The blue is worse than the orangish color.![]()
810 stage 2.
I would find that hard to believe. If there is such a cash shortage hiw would you explain 1200 M sales at 2x the price. It doesn't compute.
Anyhow. Im too exited about how fast it's moving to worry about this stuff.

So there were some 28 cameras shown in the original pic Jarred posted, and Shawn still hasn't had his shipped. I'm guessing then that the order processing is the big back up right now if that is the case.
here's hoping they aren't waiting until each customer gets their payment in before moving on to the next one, for some silly reason like getting camera numbers in sequence or something. If that's the case, skip ahead (my money is already on account) and send me one with x-ed out numbers or just underline dashes where the number should be. September is half over and there are very few cameras actually shipped... or so it would seem.So there were some 28 cameras shown in the original pic Jarred posted, and Shawn still hasn't had his shipped. I would be careful jumping to any conclusions here.. there are a lot of variables at play on who gets what when and how quickly.
