  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Where in line are we and how manmy ordered?

Just the knowledge that quantity of the mounts have arrived at Red and the units will become available for shipping soon would be a plus. You are correct though, I think a lot of people myself included are focused a bit to much on Dec 1st for shipping, but just the knowledge of an update and to know the AL mounts are in Reds hands and it won't be another few weeks, months will put all our minds at ease. Again, not complaining, just saying
 
I Will tell you the truth... How I feel
I ordered a PL Mount Scarlet, was one of the first who order it (according to this not 100% proof list.... But Nice list anyway), I ordered as fast as possible because I thought I would be delivered around 1-7 December but It seems That Europe is being dropped, with the last info, cameras have not even been received yet at Red Uk, what is more Red US shipping rate are really slow, I noticed a lot of complain around here... hoep everything will be fixed soon....

I noticed for the first Time that answers are hard to get, when you guys are begging for info, there are no clear answers, when I'm begging for info during my EPIC-x order the guy on phone seems to be slammed and leave me alone with no real help. and I ordere for more than 30 000$ alone with no answers...
It's been a week That I'm waiting for a feedback regarding my EPIC X reservation and accessories order... still waiting...

Hope we Will see More positive things because Tonaci is not a real deal, a clear answer, but it looks Like more Political move in order to show To everyone That a Red Scarlet was delivered nov 17th ... Glad that he receive his camera because he deserve to get it !

No need to flame, because I'm 100% with you Guy I prefer to wait for a Nice delayed camera such as Scarlet instead of having right away a C300 for instance.
I'm a Nice soldier always defending Red against all people who are saying this is BS...
Above all I teach to 90 students each year the way of Red and the RedOne soon the Epic in one of the best film school in France and thus since the very beginning but here I wanted to say That the sentence "no news is good news" is not enough...

We need a clear feedback, help and don't let us down here in Europe, we CAN make Nice things here too

Hope That shipping rate Will go up so you Will be able to answer to question That are not leaded by Scarlet.
BTW, if you have time, one day, it would be nice if you, or someone at RED, could help me out regarding this

I also have an accessories order from the 19th, I received my shipment verification email the 21st, and a follow up email the next day saying it would be passed to the shipping team but I'm yet to actually get the shipment email or the package...Should I message you as well?

I'm in the same boat with an accessory order, (full payment taken with an email saying it was passed to shipping dept on 21st Nov) - but since this order is additional accessories for the Ti PL Scarlet I ordered on the 4th, I figured it wouldn't be a problem until the camera shipped.

Thinking that both orders will ship at the same time?

I paid for shipping on both, I'd love for them to ship together and bring the rate down a little (granted RED's FEDEX rates are great) I just know others who have ordered after me, gotten there email and had something shipped. It's not a big deal really, just saw that he offered to lend a hand to someone. It would be nice to have some power here (which is what the order is for) prior to the scarlet arriving so that when it gets in I can just head out the door :)

Lack of fact leads to speculation. When is the email you guys were working on going out? It would be nice to be able to plan approximately when we will receive our cameras. You can't shoot a movie with a deposit....

If it makes you feel better, I placed an accessories order on the 15th I believe, and I just got my shipping confirmation like 2 days ago. Should get here tomorrow.

We are all excited, so let's keep from getting too upset when we don't get answers immediately. Remember who and what RED is. an amazing small company, to provide a tool that is a fraction of the price. Just be thrilled to involve yourself in such a wonderful ( and historic) movement! I ordered a few days late, so I most likely won't see mine until next year. Alas, The buzz and dreams of creating awesome visuals will keep me warm until then.

I was at the event, but I don't think I'll be seeing mine for a while. I think the lesson I've learned is that there's no benefit in being patient, on the understanding that the bomb squad is inundated, and just waiting to hear back and hoping there are no wrinkles. Now I realize the very reason they're inundated is because smarter people than I are getting in touch and hammering out the details, badgering if necessary. That is the way to get things moving, and avoid any pitfalls ahead of time. Well you live and learn!

Red hasn't written you off. If your Rep knows you were at the event, which they will since they compare the email of your order and your your email for ticket confirmation. Its DAY1 they still have two weeks, I'd say. If nothing changes and you dont hear by the 17th, then drop them a line, until then surf www.reddit.com
 
I have a question, where did everyone get their time stamp for the web orders that were placed on the sheet?
