I don't care what comes with the Weapon as long as theres a way to get around black shading the camera.

2 problems here: - critical focus point moves around frame, so might move out of zoomed in portion.- You would no longer be able to see the whole frame and balance out the image. Conclusion: I would never use this.I WOULD use nice bright red focus peaking, especially if I could choose it being on SDI/HDMI out only, touch screen only, etc., so the focus puller could get the help they need, while the client gets a clean look at the image at the same time.
can you use side handle with the weapon?
I wouldn't be surprised if somehow you could use the side handle with the weapon, or they came out with an updated side handle. A lot of people (myself included) really like it.
YES...thumbnail playback with ability to delete individual clips in camera. This should have been tackled via firmware three years ago IMO. Must happen.
Yes! I was on a hike to the top of a peak and like a dumba** forgot a card in the car. I filled up my first card and knew I had more space, low and behold I realized I only had one card, so I only could format the card or call it a day. Really wanted to delete unwanted clips. Was annoying being limited my such an easy option that could be integrated.
I guess it could be a feature to activate deep in the menus. "Do you want to be able to delete clips? Y/N".

While I agree that the feature would be nice, this tale of human error exemplifies the concept of human error. Which is one of the reasons delete clip isn't available.

Once delete clip or delete last clip is in there it's the moment where somebody also uses it on accident.
Phil, I have two Panasonic P2 cameras. Since 2007, I have never ever deleted a clip accidentally, nor did I ever have any kind of data corruption on my cards as a result of deleting clips. My P2 cards have been rock solid and bullet proof. I delete clips all the time, and I know that there are thousands of shooters just like me... the ones who end up editing their own work. Deleting clips is a huge time saver. I never really understood the whole human error argument, if someone is that scared of erasing data by mistake then that someone should never come close to deleting a clip, but that doesn't mean that this feature should not exist.
So RED will let you accidentally format an entire card but not delete a single clip? If they are trying to get rid of stupidity, they should prevent people from over-exposing as well.
Again, I welcome the feature if implemented, but there are very real reasons that it hasn't existed before now and this is just one of them. There are two sides to this "thing" and I understand that.
