If only a couple of VV dragon sensors are coming out every month then I wouldn't get too excited about Helium VV sensors for quite a long time. I didn't realize that having a bigger sensor made sensor production exponentially more difficult, but clearly it must.

Don't worry.. your worries are legitimate.. it will be a long wait still. Yields are going up.. slowly.. but we still are only pulling out a few VV sensors each and every month.

Thanks for this little nugget of info. Sorry to hear yields are still low! With the way Heliums are pumping out, I'm almost expecting to hear of a Vista Helium, which I'm hoping and praying for. Question, has the Helium production go much better then expected?

I think judging by the fact only one person got their allocation from the list in the first batch means that there are a LOTS of forged people who are not on this list. That means the list for vista is pretty long too.

As far as I'm aware of, only Stacy got allocated from this "list".
If you look at order numbers, however, it becomes clear this "list" is most likely but a small representation of the actual VV-Waiters' Club... ;-/

It's worth noting that many of the SO numbers in the sequence are for Weapon deposits rather than VV pre-pays, so it's pure guesswork how many are of each type.

I think the VV-Waiters' Club needs a secret handshake and a clubhouse. The Vulcan "live long and prosper" hand sign could actually pass for two "V"s... ;-)

My SO number is for the VV deposit itself. There are two other Forges that went in for upgrade that are in the VV line that are not part of this list.

I just sent in my Forged to get the Helium change over until Im notified of my VV sensor upgrade. At least I get to play with the new sensor tech for a while. Which Im very excited about.
Maybe they will make a mistake and my camera will come back with a new VV sensor in it. :thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup:

I purachsed VV on april 23 2015 for my woven weapon. Funny, after waiting a year and a half, this helium wait is the hardest yet. I haven't been allocated for any of my heliums yet. I was really hoping for that 7 to 10 day thing for the epic-w.

My Forged has been at RED for the last week getting the Helium temp sensor update, so when it gets back Ill try to post some things. Kind of busy with my present project here in South Texas but there is this little traveling carnival down the street from the hotel that I have been desperately wanting my camera back to go shoot a test using the lights at night so Ill keep everyone posted if it shows up.... soon...fingers crossed.

Down on a shoot in Prague this week so, will send it monday. Flying out for another shoot in LA friday so guess I´m not having my camera for that one. But to eager to get the helium to let it wait.

The rumor is indeed true. I have both Weapon 8K VV Dragon and Weapon 8K S35 Helium cameras here. 8K VV wrapped a 3 month shoot and then a quicky, quirky thing. I have some fancy tests I'm doing shortly. Waiting on a really heavy case to arrive on Friday and then on Monday to chew into a proper comparison. So far Helium has been fascinating to dig into. Doing more things today on that front. I'll be making a big summary post shortly on my thoughts with a whole lot of tests and all that.
