Jarred, Ron is coming over tomorrow with some "medicine" to help the recovery...

Take care buddy!

:) Peter

Peter and Ron swung by and presented me with a 10 pound mountain of chocolate today.. it definitely has helped.. ( my stomach hurts so much i cant feel my knee anymore )

Always a pleasure Jarred!

Not sure if that is the way it suppose to work, but hey, You can't argue with results...
Looks like You might need some liquid medicine now to help move the chocolate...
Any preferences...?

:aureola:

Thank your lucky stars you don't live Downunder. We have Red Back spiders here, which are part of the Black Widow family, and they have a fondness for lying in wait on toilet seats. Ouch!

Oh, then you have Funnel Web Spiders. You wouldn't be posting...

What is wrong with those nice furry animals? I have plenty of them in the garden. Love them - they keep cockroaches in check and provide food for many birds and reptiles. Kookaburras love them.

Red backs are also good to have around windows. They catch flies and other small insects. Pretty harmless little things. I have hundreds of them around the house too.

You, city boys better learn to live with critters in harmony or...well, you end up at the bottom of the food chain to a creature the size of a thumb nail

Hope you get better, Jarred. Is the spider OK?

In my birth country (Czechoslovakia) it is a bad luck to kill a spider, since, as Pawel mentioned above, the creatures are generally very useful. In any case usually by the time You start feeling the pain and You know You were bitten, any spider nearby is not likely the culprit...

:) Peter

diet.. no more red girls for you..

Not a sweet date, for sure Jarred!

A fast recovery all way long.

Wish you the Best,
E. :)

They say what doesn't kill you makes you stronger.

Looking forward to your new abilities. Get well soon, bro!

Casey, somehow I would prefer the "RED" version of the "abilities". You really don't want to even imagine Jarred with evil powers and intentions...

PS: Great Photoshop work...

heh heh heh.

Sam is a ninja as well.. I think between Sam and Peter and Ron I have enough sugar to last me at least 3 or 4 years :)

ahem...what happened to the last pic?:(
Politicaly incorrect?
Alas......

Some of us read REDUser at work. And would like to continue doing so without having to explain what it is they're reading.

HAHAhaha.. !!

hope we don't lose him to crime fighting. We need you to stay at Red Jarred, let Peter deal with the Goblin. You focus on the the goodies.

I guess that makes perfect sense...but damn that art was GOOD!

yeah for stuff like that post a link, not an inline picture :) and put the NSFW warning on it.

As for the Green Goblin... I think that guy always got a bad wrap.

Sorry if this sounds weird, but are there any crazy hallucinagenic properties of a Black Widow bite? Not in the Toad licking sense:rofl:, but anything weird vision-wise rather than just intense pain?
I worked on a flick a while back where a guy gets bit by a tarantula, and I swear the actor had a seizure on set....horrible acting.....but in the end, all they did was blur his POV...pretty bland I think.
I've often wondered how to describe the reaction to a poisonous bite of some sort visually thru the POV of the victim....just like how you shoot beer goggles.
Is it really just a dizzying blur? Or is there more to it than that?

(EDIT: I intend on researching this a bit more, I just thought I'd ask the guy who experienced this 1st hand.)

no hallucinations for me... messed with the muscles in my leg and back and a ton of pain but no seeing things unfortunately :(
