Forums are usually better when the personal stuff is left out. That said, I want to commend Bob H. for his ability to directly address topics in a straightforward way even when feeling very frustrated by his situation. BTW my wife has already pointed out the passive aggressive bit :blush2:

In any case, my core point is that the "buyer beware" button has been pushed enough times.

Curt, how many shippings do you have pending? If Im ORD200812221, how many people are in front of waiting (and drawling) for their Red Motor Units?

We have Imperos reserved for the Inclinos that we are going to be shipping. We just pulled the trigger on another batch of 275 units last week... were expecting to have them ready by the end of next week or the week after. To date we have shipped about 150 Imperos, a large portion of which are in Eriks hands for the Birger mounts.

really appreciate your reply Curt

Runing a few days late... I'm getting the 40:1 components for the10 units today. I'll post when they're together and shipped.

Can you post when you receive them, when they're packaged, ups arrival? Hell why not put a camera in the work shop so we can watch progress?

Can't sit around working in his underwear then....;)

Thanks for the update Curt. Please keep us in the loop!

... so we should have 300 sets ready by next weekend...This should easily yield 50-75 motors per week...but I have never and will never lie to you guys.

We all look forward to the 300 sets ready by next weekend (1 August) and 50-75 motors per week, then. :toetap05:

What a surprise, huh? :icon_bs:

Hello,

I have got an Impero-Birger and I would like to know if I could use it with the cables that I've got for my Origo. This would be great because I bought a pretty long cable for the origo, and it would be great to use it with the impero/birger in wired mode, when I want to safe some battery power.

Thank you,

Ivan C.

Today i had the chance to try for the first time the VFS Inclino-Impero FF.

My previous experience with VFS was with the Origo and it was an 100% positive one. I loved the little thing from the first moment i took it out of it's plastic bag but nothing could prepare me for the Inclino-impero FF!

Constantine Tyrintzis (from www.the-running-rig.com) brought his own along with some of the gear he is developing to do some testing. My jaw dropped when i saw and held the Inclino in my hands! It's awesome! Fantastic build quality, great design, great ergonomics. The photos i had seen before, just don't do it justice!

We set it up quickly on the RED and tried it with the RED 18-50mm. What can i say? I have never tried a more amazing remote FF until now. The precision and power of the motor are unbelievable and the Impero is smooth like butter, comfortable on the hand and great to look at!

I could go on and on playing the same tune but i won't. I am just sorry for all the people who are waiting so long for it but for sure they will be rewarded at the end. This top quality with this economic price is unheard of. No wonder it took so long to be developed. If you consider for a second that Curt practically built it by himself you might even wonder how it's possible he finished it so fast! Yes, forget his estimates about shipping dates and just hold it in your hands and work with it. It will all make sense...

After today's meeting i am buying one too and another RED owner, who was with us and tried it, will also buy one. This was the effect it had on us...

Thanks for the review. Hoping to get mine shipped sometime this week!
