  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

if you take delivery early to get acclimated to system are there any drawbacks aside from paying for shipping 2 more times. There are no other issues like warranty or not getting it turned around quickly are there. Also do i have to send in the whole kit or just the controller when we get the antenna?
 
I am in the first 30 and will be paying to return mine after the trail period and encourage
the other 29 to do so. VF is a small shop and I am sure the added cost of every gotcha has eaten away at the profits.

I dont see myself needing the extra coverage, but I would like to have it for the same reason I bring 10 times more crap than I use to every job....you never know.

That said, I am STOKED for this BRING IT ON!!!!
 
So you have to email them if you want the unfinished unit now.
But they don't mention what you are meant to do if you want to wait for them to finish it.

Are we just supposed to wait?
 
I'm in the Birger order and about 5 minutes from View Factor (despite what my profile says ;)

So, can I get one now? I could even pick up and deliver it back to you on upgrade time!!!

HELL I'LL EVEN BRING DONUTS!!!!

The email is set up so that if they don't hear from you, they will wait the 3.5 weeks it takes to get the new parts before they ship it out.

the email is set up so that you could eventually, if really really really in need, have the unfinished FF sent to you.... maybe.
not sure what will happen if everybody will decide to go with unfinished.
i was willing to wait and pick up mine at NAB...
but..
will it ever be finished?
i have changed my mind and ask for instant delivery.
i'll have the egg today. maybe the chicken tomorrow...

I really don't get why this hasn't even been offered to those of us that are in the Top 10 of deliveries. Sigh...

Just looked through my e-mail and found it in the spam folder(!). Phew! ... I guess I'm not completely out of the loop then.

Alex - don't mention the war! ;-)

Well - yesterday was my anniversary - a year ago since I ordered. Can't say I'm pleased about the whole thing, but I have no doubt the brothers are working their asses off to get these out the door.

Did you not read the part where the Top 30 orders will automatically be shipped in a couple days without the external antenna? When the final version with external antenna is ready, they will ship it to you. You just ship the old one back.
